AT&T invites Vertek to attend Channel Partners Las Vegas!

Several Vertek team members had the privilege of attending Channel Partners April 9-12 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada.   This event was a very good event for us, not only were we named a Master AlienVault Managed Security Services Provider (M-MSSP) by AT&T Cybersecurity, but we also got to spend some time to work the AT&T booth to discuss Vertek’s Partner Program (VPP) with AT&T Solution Provider’s (SP’s).

Several talk tracks at the show called Vertek out on stage, which highlighted the benefits of Managed SIEM and working with M-MSSP’s.   Dave Becker, Product Director with AT&T Partner Solutions (APEX) spoke during the Sara Straley’s Channel Partners Keynote.  Dave touched on the EcoSystem AT&T had developed.   It was a very cool experience to be in the audience of a strong keynote and being mentioned on stage!  Mike LaPeters, AVP with AT&T Cybersecurity also spoke during the AT&T Trailblazer Keynote, featuring Cybersecurity.  Mike discussed the benefits of implementing AlienVault USM and why working with M-MSSP’s, brings value to an organization and their clients.  Everyone did a great job and the content was very well received.

Throughout the week at Channel Partners, we met some great folks, both with AT&T, AT&T Solution Providers, and potential partners. We dug into many conversation around the current threat landscape and partner enablement-  explaining how Vertek helps partners go to market with new security services and generate new security revenue.   More and more customers are turning to SP’s for support, and SP’s are looking for fully managed turn-key cybersecurity solution partners like Vertek!  Beyond the presentations and discussions, we also made time to make it to the AT&T Partner Solutions Reception at the SkyFall Lounge in the Delano- what breath-taking views of the city!  Many connections were made that evening, and we look forward to continuing to build and strengthen our relationships with new partners, AT&T Cybersecurity, and their SP’s.
