Vertek Brings on Telecom Veteran Jorge Reis to Accelerate North American Growth Strategy
Vertek, a leading provider of innovative end-to-end telecom solutions for carriers, MSPs, channel partners and more, today announces the addition of Jorge Reis, a global operations executive and telecom leadership veteran, as Chief Strategy Officer. Drawing upon his more than two decades of experience as a senior executive and business builder in the telecom industry, Reis is a pivotal force behind strategically growing Vertek’s North American customer and partnership base.
“The combination of Jorge’s entrepreneurial background and depth and breadth of strategic vision is instrumental as Vertek enters its next stage of dynamic growth,” said Vertek President and COO Brad Soutiere. “His expertise and knowledge are exactly what we need to help define Vertek’s path forward and ensure the successful execution of our aggressive North American expansion plans.”
Reis is a global operations executive and telecom leadership veteran with a proven laser focus and expertise in driving growth for Fortune 500 and start-up companies. Over the past 20+ years, he has built organizations from the ground up, turned around underperformance, and penetrated new markets in the U.S. and around the world. Reis held a variety of strategic leadership roles during his 19-year career at Telstra where he was the COO for the Americas business as well as the Head of Global Procurement and Supplier Management. More recently, he started a consulting company providing executive leadership and consulting services to global ICT companies.
“As Chief Strategy Officer, I am eager to build off of Vertek’s telecom and cybersecurity strengths and open up new business opportunities,” said Reis. “As a former customer of Vertek, I understand the value and advantages of the company’s offerings and I am excited to be a part of shaping Vertek’s future growth.”
