Vertek Cybersecurity Sponsors 2019 New York Tech Summit

We were pleased to sponsor and attend the New York State Tech Summit on June 6-7^, 2019!   Chris Ackley, Channel Sales Manager and Chris Maulding, Sr. Security Engineer attended the 15^th Annual NY Tech Summit held at Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, NY.

Vertek was one of many top security companies represented.  Several key security companies in attendance included GreyCastle Security, Fortinet, Cisco, and DellEMC.  In total, there were over 30 technology companies, 300+ attendees from over 175 companies/organizations.

The event was well attended across verticals.   Several highlights of the event include the keynote speaker Merrill Hodge – retired NFL running back and author of Find a Way: Three Words That Changed My Life, Vertek’s Lightening Talk presentation by Chris Ackley and Chris Maulding on Managed Threat Intelligence and discussing the ever-changing threat landscape with many attendees.  Vertek’s team was able to deliver key messaging around the importance of implementing AlienVault’s cutting edge USM technology, and coupling it with our talented and unique skill sets.  Vertek discussed Managed SIEM and SOC-as-a-Service with key individuals from regional manufacturing plants, healthcare groups, higher education and credit unions.
